Palm Oil Production Adequate to Support Biodiesel

General Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Syukur Iwantoro said palm oil supply is sufficient, even to implement B100. “Based on our potential palm oil supply, I am very optimistic,” Syukur said as he visited Kartika Expo Jakarta, (27/7/2018). He said that Ministry of Agriculture intensively replant old oil palm plantation. Government’s replanting target raised from 20 thousand hectares in 2017 to 185 thousand hectares in 2018. It is expected to increase around 10 thousand to 20 thousand every month. (Antara)***
