Presidential Instruction on National Action Plan on Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil 2019-2024
Indonesian President Joko Widodo has issued Presidential Instruction Number 6 of 2019 on National Action Plan of Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil 2019-2024. The instruction (also known as Inpres), signed on 22 November 2019, is aimed to improve farmers’ capacity and capability; to finalize status and legality of lands; to make use of palm oil as a source of renewable energy and to enhance diplomacy toward sustainable oil palm plantations; as well as to accelerate implementation of Indonesian sustainable palm oil.
