A hearing session with Indonesian palm oil stakeholder was held in Palembang, South Sumatera on 17 July 2019, to examine a roadmap for national palm oil. Attendees at the session organized by Directorate General of Plantation at Ministry of Agriculture included officials from government, businesspeople, farmers, academia, etc. `` It was the third hearing session of a series meeting in various cities. The first session was held in Medan, North Sumatera on 13 June 2019; the second one in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan for regions of East Indonesia included Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua. The hearing session was expected to achieve following targets: Firstly, to coordinate ministries or government institutions with the stakeholders in order to create development agenda of the national sustainable palm oil by 2045. Secondly, to strengthen the development agenda of the national sustainable palm oil from upstream to downstream to be implemented in the existing roadmap concept. Thirdly, to update palm oil data. Fourthly, to build an integrated team that will provide support to create the right roadmap for national sustainable palm oil. *** ``
