An Insight on B30 Road Test

INDONESIA began testing biodiesel with a bio-content of 30% (B30) in cars and trucks on Thursday (13/6/2019). The road test which is funded by the Indonesia Oil Palm Plantation Fund Management agency (BPDPKS) will last until October 2019.

Head of Research and Development at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Dadan Kusdiana told reporters, Thursday (13/6/2019), that the road test is a step in the government’s plan to make it mandatory for all biodiesel to have a 30% bio-content in 2020. “The road test is conducted by comparing performance of the vehicles before and after using B30.  All vehicles are compared with those using B20,” Dadan said.

The details of the test are as follows: OPERATIONAL TEAM
