BPDPKS Supports Trade Expo Indonesia 2018

The Indonesian Oil Palm Estate Fund (BPDPKS) is supporting the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2018 which will be held on 24-28 October 2018. The event initiated by Trade Ministry will be held at Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) City, Tangerang, Banten. It is estimated about 28 thousand visitors will attend the event. Some buyers from 60 countries have been registered to attend, including from Nigeria, China, India, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Uni Arab Emirates, Cambodia, Suriname, and the United States. Director General of National Export Development at Trade Ministry Arlinda Imbang Jaya said the event will be supported by public private partnership without government fund support. Together with BPDPKS,  Indonesia Exim Bank will also sponsor the event. Director of Partnership of BPDPKS Tulus Budhianto said the TEI 2018 is expected to create a positive image about Indonesian palm oil products in global arena. This is important to counter black campaigns emerged in several countries, especially in European Union countries. “Apart from being an promotional event, TEI 2018 is expected to inform public and businesspeople that Indonesian palm oil products are sustainable and environmentally friendly. They are very competitive products,” Tulus said. TEI is an international B2B-focused trade show that is designed to boost export product growth and export market expansion. The 33rd TEI in 2018 brings up the theme “Creating Products for Global Opportunities” to promote quality products made in Indonesia for the global market, develop business networks, investment and present showcases of Indonesian premium and best products. Along with the exhibition, TEI also present a series of parallel activities consisting of Trade, Tourism and Investment Forum, Business Matching, Business Counseling, Regional Discussion, Overseas and Local Trade Mission, Export Start-Up Competition and Talk Show. ***
