The government is working with the National Police (Polri) to discuss the use of B20 on primary weaponry systems used by Polri.
`We have invited Polri to discuss it. Unfortunately, they thought the meeting was to discuss law enforcement on B20 mandatory program, so the discussion was postponed until Monday,” Economic Coordinating Minister Darmin Nasution said in Jakarta, Friday (28/9/2018).
Previously, the Government had decided to use B20 on military primary weaponry systems used by the national armed forces (TNI), including on naval ships, tanks, etc. This is a part of the government`s policy to expand the use of B20 in both subsidized sector (public service obligation/PSO) and non-PSO sector.
Currently, TNI is auditing their armaments before using B20. `TNI needs more time to finish the audit. They have reaffirmed their commitment to use B20,” Darmin said. ***
