Using B30, Biosolar Price Remains Steady
The government has reaffirmed its commitment not to raise biosolar selling price at gas stations during implementation of B30 mandatory program.
JAKARTA—The government has reaffirmed its commitment not to raise biosolar selling price at gas stations during implementation of B30 mandatory program. Biosolar price at gas stations will remain steady at Rp5.150 per liter.
B30 is a blend of 30 percent by volume biodiesel with 70 percent by volume petroleum diesel. “There won’t be change on biosolar price,” Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources rifin Tasrif told journalist in Jakarta, Friday (27/12/2019).
He said, the main trend of CPO price is up due to high domestic demand, pushed by implementation of B30 mandatory program.
The current diesel fuel base price is set using pricing formula: 95 percent MPI (Market Index Price) plus Rp802 per liter. As defined by rule on the decree of the Minister of MEMR No. 1980 K/10/MEM/2018 on fuels Market Price Index, the diesel fuel MPI is set using 100 percent price of Mean of Platts Singapore (Mops) 0.25 percent sulphur gasoil. ***
