Adaro Uses Biodiesel on Mining Equipment
PT Adaro Energy Tbk has been using biodiesel fuel for heavy equipment and machinery in their mines, namely biodiesel B10, B15, and also B20 which is still on trial. General Manager External Relation PT Adaro Indonesia Rizki Dartaman said at least 1.500 machinery unit operated at the mining site in Tanjung Regency, South Kalimantan has been using B10 and B15.

General Manager External Relation PT Adaro Indonesia Rizki Dartaman said at least 1.500 machinery unit operated at the mining site in Tanjung Regency, South Kalimantan has been using B10 and B15. `We have been absorbing 637 million liter B10 and B15 this year or about 2,5 million liter per day,` Rizki said as quoted by Tribunnews (11/8/2018). Adaro has committed to develop biofuel program by substituting 10% to 15% diesel fuel with fuel blended with vegetable oil castor oil and CPO. The company is also developing it own biodiesel project.
