PT Eagle High Plantations Tbk is expanding its business plan by building a new Palm Oil Mill in East Kalimantan.  The 10th plant has a processing capacity of up to 60 tons per hour.

PT Eagle High Plantations Tbk is expanding its business plan by building a new Palm Oil Mill in East Kalimantan.  The 10th plant has a processing capacity of up to 60 tons per hour.  It is planned to start to be built by the fourth quarter of this year. Nicolaas B Tirtadinata, President Director of BWPT, said that the development of this new factory is a company strategy to improve the processing of fresh fruit bunches from the company`s core and plasma plantations. `Especially in the next two years, there is additional production of FFB from the company’s producing plants,` he said, some time ago. Nicolaas continued, in addition to building a new factory, BWPT also plans to build a bulking station in East Kalimantan. This bulking station  will be prepared with a storage capacity of 4,000 metric tons (mt). BWPT has prepared a budget of Rp 280 billion to build this new facilities. Hopefully the factory can operate commercially by 2020. As for this year, the company affiliated with Rajawali Group is also claiming to be completing the ninth processing mill built in Papua.  In the first quarter of 2011, BWPT booked a net loss of Rp 76.4 billion. The loss swelled 371% over the same period of 2017 which amounted to Rp 16.22 billion. (Tribune News)
