The second batch of Journalist Fellowship Program organized by the Indonesia Oil Palm Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS) continued with traveling abroad to participate in palm oil related events.

The second batch of Journalist Fellowship Program organized by the Indonesia Oil Palm Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS) continued with traveling abroad to participate in palm oil related events. This time, two participants of the program joined Globoil India 2019, in Mumbai, India 25 to 27 September 2019. Participants of this activities are journalists who participated in the 2nd batch of Journalist Fellowship Program. '

Previously, they completed activities in Jakarta and at an oil palm plantation in District of Semitau, Kapuas Hulu Regency, West Kalimantan, in order to improve their knowledge of sustainable palm oil. Two of ten participants have been appointed to travel abroad as they have successfully create finest journalistic works. 

In the Globoil India 2019, they conducted journalistic works such as on the spot reporting and news gathering. They also joined a business forum and edible oils exhibition. Globoil, established in 1997 in India, is an international conference and exhibition on vegetable oil, feed and feed ingredients, oilseeds and oleochemicals. 

Globoil India is now an established annual feature and is keenly looked forward to by the players in the vegetable oil trade and industry. A truly interactive forum, Globoil is enriched by international participation and provides an index of the rising importance of India in the Global Market Place.

Journalist Fellowship Program is a program organized by BPDPKS to provide opportunity for journalists to improve their journalistic knowledge and skill of news reporting about palm oil. The program which will be held in several batches is open for journalists from national or regional print and online media. The fellowship will be awarded to only ten journalists in each batch. ***
