INDONESIAN Embassy in Warsaw, Poland displayed a series of presentation showing palm oil contribution to the UN’s agenda Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at an expo in Warsaw. The “Humanitarian Expo” which was organized by the Poland Ministry of Foreign Affiars was held at PTAK Expo in Nadarzyn, 30 km of Warsaw, 11-13 June 2019, Indonesia pavilion presented a booth with theme “Palm Oil Contribution in Achieving SDGs”. The 84 square meter pavilion displayed presentation on the subject of economic growth, poverty eradication, environment, clean energy, as well as gender equality. For this presentation, the Indonesia Oil Palm Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS) provided some latest publications.

INDONESIAN Embassy in Warsaw, Poland displayed a series of presentation showing palm oil contribution to the UN’s agenda Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at an expo in Warsaw. The “Humanitarian Expo” which was organized by the Poland Ministry of Foreign Affiars was held at PTAK Expo in Nadarzyn, 30 km of Warsaw, 11-13 June 2019, Indonesia pavilion presented a booth with theme “Palm Oil Contribution in Achieving SDGs”.

The 84 square meter pavilion displayed presentation on the subject of economic growth, poverty eradication, environment, clean energy, as well as gender equality. For this presentation, the Indonesia Oil Palm Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS) provided some latest publications. Visitors to the pavilion also enjoyed a series of video presentation featuring Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program conducted by Indonesian palm oil companies such as Sinarmas and Wilmar Group. A Balinesse Pendet dance and Sundanesse Bajidor Kahot dance were also performed to welcome visitors while they were enjoying Kopiko coffee which is now available in Poland market.

Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz and Chief Inspector of Road Transport at the Poland’s Ministry of Transport Alvin Gajadhur made a short visit to the pavilion. The expo featured 154 exhibitors from government and private institutions that concern with humanitarian assistance, including institutions from logistics and communication, shelter, medical equipment, security, foods sectors as well as humanitarian organizations.

The expo was inugurated by Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz and Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Malki. Polish President Andrzej Duda also attended the expo and delivered a remark. (Sumber: KBRI di Warsawa, Polandia)
