CPO Reference Price is Set at US$786,63/Ton in March 2020

Indonesian government lowered export reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) to US$786,63/ton in March 2020, down 6,32% from US$839,69/ton in February 2020.

JAKARTA—Indonesian government lowered export reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) to US$786,63/ton in March 2020, down 6,32% from US$839,69/ton in February 2020.

The new reference price follows a Trade Minister Regulation No 17 Year 2020 on Export Reference Price for Agriculture Products and Forestry that are subject to export tariffs.

Export tariff for Palm Oil, CPO, and derivative products is referred to reference price calculated by an average of CPO prices on Cost Insurance Freight (CIF) from Rotterdam, Bursa Malaysia Derivatives, and Indonesia Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.

The CPO export tariff for November 2018 is stated on Column 2 of the Attachment II Letter C of Finance Ministry Regulation No. 13/PMK.010/2017 and is set at US$3/Ton which is down from previous  period of US$18/Ton. **
